According to Modern Bride Magazine, over fifty percent all couples who married in 1999 used the services of wedding consultants, also commonly referred to as wedding coordinators, bridal consultants, and wedding planners. Industry statistics for subsequent years indicate the number continues to rise. In a 2002 survey conducted by SuperWeddings.com, 62% of respondants reported using a wedding consultant.
